key to produce newline?

Postby kdmoyers on Wed Jul 01, 2009 7:11 pm

when editting a cell, you can use the little toolbar button to produce a newline in your text. Very handy. Is there an equivalent keystroke to do the same thing? That would prevent having to grab the mouse at the end of each line.

In other programs, I've seen this function bound to Ctrl-Enter or Shift-Enter, but nether of those work.

I'm running ver 2.03 under windows xp sp 3

Thanks!

It is Alt+Enter.

But you can't do that on a Pocket PC because it has no Alt key, which is why I added it to the Entry toolbar.
